Yes, we finally made our way back to the main island of Ko Samui, where we spent our last weekend in Thailand. Unlike laid-back Ko Phangan, there are many, many high-end hotels and chique-chique restaurants here on Ko Samui. Hence, we drove around the island with our little scooter to see the different, incredible resorts with beautiful interior architecture and mostly really good lighting…back at the airport we realized that we extended our stay in Thailand so much that the 30 day visa was already expired! Hence, we had to pay a (little) “overstay fine” at the airport’s passport control.

After one month in one place wearing nothing else than flip-flops and sand on our feet, we are ready to newly discover the world! At Bangkok’s airport we got our last foot-massage and green curry, before leaving Thailand for South Africa…
