Walt Disney Concert Hall & LACMA

Today on Sunday there was our L.A. cultural day with a very interesting guided tour through Gehry’s Walt Disney Concert Hall and the LACMA museum in the afternoon. In the LACMA, we saw Martina’s all time favourite (lighting) installation called “Urban Light” with 202 restored 1920s L.A. street lights by Chris Burden. “Metropolis” was actually another large scale urban sculpture with 1100 matchbox cars continuously driving around, like a mini L.A…

Now back at the airport, we have to say Good-Bye to California, as we are the lucky guys who fly to our next new destination- the Cook Islands! 🙂
