We made it to Salta, the most northerly wine region in Argentina! Its capital – Salta – is a beautiful colonial city from where started our road trip yesterday, driving through the most stunning mountain range “Quebrada de las Conchas” and stayed overnight in Cafayate, a small village in between vineyards and mountains.

What struck us most is that the Argentines up here in Salta look so completely different and much more indigenous in comparison to the “Portenos” – people from Buenos Aires…and they are extremely nice and friendly people..

..and Florian’s travel beard is gone..:-)
